Whether you are relocating to the area or making a move within the Austin area living in Round Rock is a great option.

Have you been thinking about moving to Round Rock? Maybe you’re looking for more information to help you decide. Well, let’s discuss a few things you should know.

Location

The best thing about Round Rock is its location. Round Rock is east of Cedar Park and Leander, south of Georgetown, and north of Austin, Texas. Downtown Austin is about 23 miles away. There’s the domain which is about 13 miles away. You have easy access to everything.

Recreation

Round Rock has Kalahari resort, the largest indoor waterpark in America. There you’ll find a huge pool, a large arcade, spas, and fine dining. Everything you need to relax for your vacation or staycation is here.

Across the street from Kalahari resort is the Dell Diamond center, where they have Round Rock express, the minor league baseball.

You can also enjoy Old Settlers Park. This is Round Rock’s crown Jewel Park with baseball fields, soccer fields, sand volleyball, a catch and release pond, and so much more.

The All Abilities Park is also worth mentioning. They have these pods where kids can imagine that they’re workers such as a fireman or police officer. Your kids’ imaginations can just go wild.

Homes and Home Prices

The median home price for April was $490,000 and, for Williamson County, it was $430,000. Round Rock has a lot to offer in terms of housing. Some are well into the millions but you can still find a home in the high end of $200,000s.

So what kind of homes can you find? There are condos, single-family homes, golf course communities with pools and tennis courts, and townhomes. The townhomes are being built in downtown Round Rock and will be similar to what you see in New York; live, work and play.

Shopping

Round Rock has you covered with the Round Rock Premium Outlets. You can find Converse, Nike, Children's Place, or Carter's. Another thing that you'll enjoy is the HEB plus; you can buy clothes there along with your fresh fruits and vegetables.

There's a great coffee shop, Summer Moon, located just down the street. In addition to that, we've got IKEA. IKEA offers furniture and everything for a home living you can find.

Amazing school district

Round Rock ISD has some of the top-rated schools in Central Texas. The teachers and the faculty and staff are excellent at what they do, and your kids will be well taken care of in this district.
